Movie #356........................."Bridge to Terabithia"

Movie #356 "Bridge to Terabithia" I liked a lot, mostly due to the two very capable young actors. After seeing this, I looked up the two kids and their long list of projects is quite commendable (the girl was the Winn-Dixie girl and she even sings one of the songs in the closing --- very talented) (the boy was an actor I especially liked in the recent "Kids Are All Right" film I saw) The story was okay --- I don't usually like this genre, but the two actors were so good, and the subtext of being bullied by other kids was so universal that I bought it. I can see where the subject matter might be a bit disturbing for younger kids (deals with death), but it has a very powerful ending that all kids should see some time in their lifetime. I'm sorry I didn't see it earlier, but thankful I got to see it at all! Beautifully photographed, to boot!
