Movie #1961 "All the Bright Places (netflix streaming) I read this book, and when I saw it pop up as a netflix movie with Elle Fanning, I jumped at the chance to see it as soon as I could -- and the time came about the other night. It was kind of a one-of-a-kind book aimed at Young Adults with very serious subjects covered like suicidal thoughts and other mental illnesses. As the plot line says below, the two main characters Vi and Theo learn some valuable lessons as their friendship grows throughout the movie. Very well acted, once again there isn't a lot of plot here ---- in fact, it deals with visiting places in Indiana for a school project, but the emphasis is rather on character, and the acting is superb. I found it quite good and would recommend both the book and the movie --- and give it a 4 out of 5. Once again a clean yA movie, but the subject matter lends itself more to the high school audience.
"ALL THE BRIGHT PLACES" 1 hour and 47 mins 2020
