Movie #513 ........................"Dummy"

Movie #513 "Dummy" -- my family recommended this little gem, and I enjoyed it. It's my type of film --- a quirky, well acted romantic comedy. I didn't think I wanted to see a movie about a ventriloquist, esp. after seeing "Magic", but this had a strong theme about working things out through the dummy in a funny fashion. I didn't see the Mel Gibson puppet movie earlier this year, so I still don't know how it was, or how it compares to this, but now I'm anxious to see it. Can't believe it's better than this one because it won't be as quirky............or will it? will have to see, but this one is a funny idea executed well. And Illeana Douglas, his sister, and Vera Farmiga, his girlfriend, are both a stitch! I recommend it; thanks, family!
