Movie #466 ........................."Thor"

Movie #466 "Thor" was not near as bad as I thought it would be ---- with a competetent director at the helm (Kenneth Branagh) I was pleasantly surprised ---- it had a nice sense of humor, good acting, and nice juxtapositioning of time on earth and time in AsGard (home of Thor). I still didn't care much about what was happening, but that's me --- don't care for comic book good guys vs. bad guys thing --- however, the bad guy was a tad more complex than I expected him to be, and so was the good guy, so that made watching the film more pleasant as well. Don't really know why it was 3D, though. Didn't need to be because it makes all the characters look separate from the environments. Other than that, it is recommendable. Fun time at the movie theatre, and I wouldn't mind seeing the next one (and oh yes, there will be a next one --- they had a preview of it if you stay through the credits)
